April Showers To, Too, Two? - Ryan Cornelius

I want to start off by saying that here in Florida we have needed rain for quite a while now.  What I think is really ironic (am I using that word right?) is that both weekends that Amy scheduled for her "April Showers" events - it has rained on the first day of the event!  Now the rest of the time it has been pool weather, but the first day of the last two weekends, it has rained.   It makes me wonder if she has powers I don't know about.  I mean I know she is a force of nature... but can she?  Naaaa, but I really am  secretly starting to wonder.  ;-)

Well, the second weekend of the April Showers event is well underway.  Lunch was fantastic (again) and after dinner tonight is the Crop Circles College layout class "This Is Me" from Simple Stories.  The class layout design and directions are by Naureen O'Neale (Design Team Member from the Purple Circle Kit Club) and is being taught this weekend by Amy!

All the ladies this weekend have said they are having a great time, and all I see are smiles!   There are plenty of new faces, and many who welcomed me back so warmly (I drove up this morning since I had to work yesterday.)  I also got to hear about all the laughing - and line dancing.  (at a crop?)  And if you make it over to our Facebook page you can see some pictures of the group whopping it up to the Red Solo Cup song!

I am happy to say the July "1 Year Anniversary" Event is SOLD OUT, and we even added an August event to handle the demand.  Now the August event only has THREE spots left, so hurry on over to our website and get your deposit in before someone takes the spot you know you want!

Sunday Morning Retreat Recap! - Ryan Cornelius

Good Morning All!

Ryan here!  Wow!  What a great weekend.  I wish I had been able to get here on Friday.  I just don't feel like I was able to get in on all the laughing and jokes from this weekend since I missed a whole day.  And from all the fun I had on Saturday, I can tell I probably missed some good stuff.

As I sit here Sunday morning, I am truly grateful for all of you coming and supporting us.  Amy works so hard to specialize our events, and give each of you individual service, and I want to make sure you all know how much we appreciate you coming to spend your weekends with us.  We are both so happy to hear the feedback from you about how much fun you had.  And that really is all it is about.

For those of you coming next weekend, get ready to have some fun!  It will be our 8th crop and we have - I feel - started to hit our stride.  We have worked out all the kinks and hiccups all new adventures face to provide you a great stress free weekend of cropping, laughing, and more food than you could possibly eat.

This weekend we introduced Crop Circles College.  A new feature at select events where we will have instructors come and teach classes!  We are very excited about this new adventure and hope you all get a chance to take some wonderful classes when you come spend the weekend with us.

On the electronic front, we have been listening and changed a couple things on our website to make it easier to find things.  We have also merged our newsletter, blog and email service into one place to make it easier to communicate with you all.   If you have registered for an account on our website to purchase products, then you are automatically registered for our newsletter and blog updates.  Click the link below and see the changes.

The "April Showers" Update

Starting a couple days ago the first of two "April Showers" events started at the Hampton Inn, located in The Villages, Florida.

Crop Circles chose the hotel because of its location, but also because it is just a great place to relax and get some layouts done.  Clean rooms, plenty of cropping space, and it so quiet around here.  Well, at least until the ladies showed up!  Then the laughter started. Now it only calms down a little bit when we are all eating.

In another first for Crop Circles - we are happy to announce the beginning of Crop Circles College!

 

Our Crop Circle College will be at select events starting at this first "April Showers" crop.  We are excited to say we are currently making plans for special class instructors to be at events all throughout this year, and for our events we are planning in 2014.   Crop Circles College is a value added feature to our events.  This weekend Naureen O'Neale (from the Purple Circle Kit Club Design Team) is teaching a two page layout.

Her class also comes with a full color set of instructions on how to do the layout, and pictures on how you could use your leftover!
